Weddings
Full days, temple exits, ring ceremonies, receptions. The work that taught me how to read a room fast.
Photographer, videographer, and the person who will actually be at your wedding.
I've spent the last five years as a photographer and videographer, and the work has been genuinely varied — weddings and bridal sessions, family portraits, podcast production, real estate, and film sets, where I've worked as a director and spent time in front of the camera as well as behind it.
That mix is the whole point. Directing teaches you to see a scene before it happens. Being on the other side of the lens teaches you exactly how it feels to be photographed — which is most of what makes people relax. And shooting a hundred rooms that aren't weddings teaches you to find the light anywhere, including a reception hall at 9pm with three strings of café bulbs.
What I love most is the creative part — hearing what a couple is picturing in their head, and then making that exact thing exist.
Bring me a mood board, a color, a half-formed idea, a film you love the look of. I'd rather build something with you than hand you the same gallery I handed the last couple.
